TRIOPTICS GmbH appoints new General Manager for the U.S.
2011/10: In October 2011, Mr. Peter Schuette took over the position of the General Manager of TRIOPTICS USA, a subsidiary which was founded in 2010 by TRIOPTICS GmbH. The career of Mr. Schuette began in sales at Philips Medical Systems in Germany and the Netherlands. After ten years he joined Moeller-Wedel, where he first was Sales Manager for Test and Measurement Equipment and later International Sales Director for medical equipment. "Mr. Schuette has a broad experience in International Sales of optical systems. The expansion of the U.S. business, as well as a stronger customer orientation is our main task for the North American market," says Eugen Dumitrescu, CEO of TRIOPTICS GmbH.
TRIOPTICS continues to expand in Asia
2011/10:
TRIOPTICS GmbH, a leading manufacturer of optical test equipment, based in Wedel, Germany strengthens its market presence in Asia. TRIOPTICS has founded TRIOPTICS Taiwan, a new service center for Asia in August 2011, located in Taipei.
Unice, a distributor of TRIOPTICS, will continue to distribute in Taiwan.
“Unice has a broad experience in the photonics market and their product portfolio is a good supplement to our instruments,” says Eugen Dumitrescu, CEO of TRIOPTICS.
TRIOPTICS has appointed Mr. Lin as CEO of TRIOPTICS Taiwan. Mr. Lin will ensure close cooperation between these companies. Before joining TRIOPTICS, Mr. Lin has spent several years in the photonics industry.

TRIOPTICS instrument OptiSpheric ® IOL measures the dioptric power of monofocal, multifocal (refractive and diffractive), aspherical and toric IOL lenses with the direct imaging technology and determines the modulation transfer function. The second instrument WaveMaster ® IOL provides real time wavefront measurement of intraocular lenses in air and in situ using a Shack-Hartmann Sensor.
